Nanjing Garden Expo Banyan Tree Hotel

The hotel is located in Jiangsu Garden Expo Park, Jiangning District, Nanjing City. It is located in Tangshan, a famous hot spring town in China. Banyan Tree Nanjing Garden Expo is built in the valley of the mining area. The artwork draws from the past and present life of the ancient capital of the Six Dynasties, focusing on ‘rebirth’ Question, break the status quo and emerge from the mine. The main theme of the lobby is the 'cocoon', which is a key piece. The layers of acrylic and logs are spliced together to form a cocoon shape, which means that the mine pit breaks inwards to breed new life.
